Oracle 10g redo log file members
Hello,I have a 12 years single instance Oracle 10g database. All disks are in the two raid controllers, and the raid 5 is used.
There are 10 redo log groups, and each group has one redo log file.
Between I/O performance and Oracle suggestion, which at least 2 redo log groups and each group has 2 log member files, would it be the best practice to add one more redo log file member to the each redo log group?
Would I/O performance be impacted under this change? Or check alert log if there is any impact occurs.
Any comments/remarks?
